Way To Hold'em Off, Girls!
November 23rd, 2003
8:00 AM games have not been our strong point this season, but, after getting scored on in the first quarter, the girls played a strong defensive game!

In a game ending 1 to 0, the girls were unable to score, but, the defense was a real team effort against the strong team.  We went into the game tied with the Pink Panthers (2-2-1), but, as we know... that is on paper. The teams seemed evenly matched on the field, making for a good game.

I know the girls are wanting to make it to "Playoffs", but, I still say this season has proven friendship between the girls, the true concept of "Team Work" and all have shown "Team Pride" and we all know how important that is!

With great efforts, showing support, and walking off of the field with a smile... The "Player Of The Game" is Katie!

To The Team - Shake it off girls... As I have said before.. You Are All Great Soccer Players... and Teammates!  I am honored as a coach to have all 11 of you on my team.

Well here we go..... THE COLD IS HERE are you ready ?

Players :  Remember to be ready to dress for cool and warm weather.  Carry a sweat shirt in your bag with you to games and practices. Continue to bring water or Gatorade to practice, fluids are important.

Remember that staying fit is very important.  What you eat and drink really does matter.  A balanced "Diet" doesn't mean you are on a "Diet" to lose weight ... but rather control your intake for better performance on the field !

Parents :  Take advantage of "Jack's Nutrition Guide" offered by Region 46.  Print it out and post it on the frig !   These kids are growing everyday and proper nutrition is essential.
"Control Gets The Goal !" - When we are in control, we are stronger !

"Power Of Pride" - When you play, remember that doing your best will make your Coach and your Parents proud, and that is "The Power Of Pride".
