IDK Takes An Honorable 0-0 Tie Against Arsenal
(March 31st, 2007 - Saugus, Ca) Team IDK played a B_E_A_U_TIFUL game of Soccer against Arsenal, in a match that would end in a 0-0 tie.

Passing, ball control, traps, steals, you name it, and IDK was there to show Arsenal how to do it.

With a 1:00 pm start time, IDK took the field not knowing what they were up against, but I did...  Arsenal is a very strong team with not one, but

two Club players.  The concept and strategy for the game and the strength of Arsenal was something I was worried about. I wasn't sure how things would go against the strong team, and IDK did me proud!

Not once did Arsenal truly become a controlling factor in the game.  If they got the ball, IDK was there to shut them don't and take it away... IDK as a team has improved 110%.  Starting the season with a 5-0 win, the team was pumped, yet fell into a slump, but have since kicked up their cleats and showing they are a team to contend with on the field.

I have explained to the players that there is three types of games played... 1. A Players Game - 2. A Coaches Game - 3. A Referees Game.  We hope for a players game all of the time, of course, but sometimes we need to play the team we are playing... so today, we played #2. A Proud Coach walked IDK's sidelines today.  Don't get me wrong, I am always proud, but today, the team shined so bright, I was blinded with pride! I knew the strength of the opponent, and did what I thought would work to shut down the strong team.  It worked!  Of course all credit is to the 9 players who had no sub, played in 80 degree temperatures, and had me all over them.  I try to coach down, but to be honest, I have been a wreck since last week when I saw Arsenal play. I should have never doubted the strength of IDK, this team played an awesome game of Soccer.

I have also explained to the players...  Truthfully, once that game is over... it's over and I don't care about that game any-more.  Yet, what I do care about is each players game, as an individual. Where are the weaknesses and where can we build strength?  In today's game I was beside myself as I watched every-single-player play the best game I have seen them play.

Today's game was a defensive game, and as I said, it was a coaches game, so the shut down was spectacular.. Arsenal never scored! I told the team... "Defense starts in offence!" and "We lose the ball in the dead center of the field," as-well-as... "Cut them off, don't run beside nor watch them play, cut them off!" The team did exactly what we have practice, and to me, it paid off Big-Time!!!

IDK, You have Power... The Power Of Pride!!! (The power to make others proud!)

IDK Fills The Chart With W-L-T
(March 18th, 2007 - Saugus, Ca) Team IDK has seen all ends of the finish, with 1 Win, 1 Loss and 1 Tie.

Starting with the 5-0 win, and then taking a loss while missing two payers, and... a Coach!

This weekend, IDK held there own against

a strong opponent, scoring and holding to two, ending in a tie.

This team has come together to play very well, and each player in their own has improved tremendously.

IDK Starts Off The Spring Season With A Victorious Shut-Out!
(March 3rd, 2007 - Saugus, Ca) Team IDK showed up to the field to find wind gust off up to 20 m.p.h., they knew they would not only play he ball against the other team, but the wind as well.

With the wind in their favor the first half, the team found the net twice, pumping them up for the second half.

Playing against the strong winds was tough, yet IDK managed to find the net 3 more times against the green team.  Great passing and ball

control proved to be at the feet of this team known as, IDK!
