Put Me In Coach, I'm Ready To Play!!!
(Nov. 6th, 2004) 8:00 am, the sun starts to rise, and Ambush is on the hunt...

Hungry for the ball, Ambush held off the strong team showing no score in the first quarter... As we work on or offence, our defense has sure stepped up to the plate, and great saves were made by Dani, as her guard for the net was remarkable.  Big kicks, clearing the ball and sending it up for scoring opportunities, Ambush almost seemed sure to score, but the ball never saw the net from a Ambush attack.

Everyone was in the game, and I couldn't be more proud!  This team, as well as the players as individuals, have really improved.

"I don't want to out right now, I am ready to play!"  I heard that, I left her in the game, and it was then, that Megan showed me what will power is all about!

The power of pride? you bet!  This team has shown more and more pride with each game.  "Put Me In Coach" is all I could think of when I looked into the eyes of these players when they went out a played an awesome game of soccer.

Great game Ambush, the win is coming your way, and it will be a big one!

Notes and Reminders
First Aid/Injury - I always have a first aid kit on hand at practice.  If your child is hurt on or off the field, during or away from an AYSO event (practice included), and the child sees a physician, a Doctors Release is required for the player to return to play.
Carpools - These are great, but make sure you have all contact numbers as well as the coach having a copy. (Cell phones are a great have!)
Parents Comfort - Bring a chair if you plan on staying at practice and at the games.  There are no bleachers of any kind at the parks or the schools.
Flat Balls - They get us no-where!  Please make sure balls are pumped always.
